Hoy joins Manly on one-year deal

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have signed former Newcastle Knights back Tex Hoy on a train-and-trial deal for the 2026 season.

Hoy has recently relocated to the Northern Beaches after playing three seasons in England and has joined the squad in pre-season training.

The 26-year-old made his NRL debut with the Knights in 2020, playing 29 NRL games across three seasons before moving to the UK.

He played a further 59 games in three seasons in the Super League, joining Hull FC in 2023 before a mid-season shift to Castleford Tigers in 2024.

Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has welcomed Hoy to the club.

Tex has shown that he’s a quality player and we’re happy to have him with us.
