Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Adam Smyth, a Sea Eagles fan who attended many games at Brookvale over the years.
The 50-year-old father-of-four has been confirmed as the 14th victim of the Bondi Beach shooting to be identified.
As reported by Seven News, Adam was also a big fan of Liverpool FC and the Sydney Swans.
As a Manly supporter and a valued member of the wider community, Adam will be remembered with warmth and respect.
The Club offers its heartfelt condolences to Adam’s wife Katrina, his family, friends, and loved ones during this devastating time.
The Club is also offering its support to 22-year-old Probationary Constable, Jack Hibbert, who is also a Manly fan.
Jack was shot twice while responding to the mass shooting in Bondi. Although miraculously surviving, Jack’s injuries resulted in a loss of vision in one eye and he now faces a long and challenging recovery ahead, with additional surgeries required.
The Sea Eagles playing squad, have sent a heartfelt video tribute to Jack as he begins his road to recovery.
Our thoughts are with the families and friends of all those who lost their lives or suffered injuries or trauma from the events that unfolded last weekend.
The Club will pay its respects to the victims of the Bondi attacks at a home game at 4 Pines Park in the 2026 season.
