Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are delighted to announce that hooker Jake Simpkin has signed a two-year contract extension.
The new deal keeps the 24-year-old at the Club until at least the end of the 2028 season.
Simpkin joined Manly on a two-and-a-half-year deal mid-season from Wests Tigers in 2024 after making his NRL debut with the joint venture club in 2021.
He played 22 of a possible 24 games for Manly in 2025 and has made 69 appearances in five seasons in the NRL.
Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold says the new deal rewards Simpkin’s professionalism and consistency.
“Jake has thoroughly earned this contract extension after his most consistent season yet,” said Seibold.
“His preparation for training and games is extremely thorough.
In all the important effort areas in games, which not everyone might notice, Jake is always a high performer.

Only recently becoming a father, Simpkin says it’s nice to have his contract settled.
“I’ve loved my time at Manly and I’m very happy to be here for a few more years,” he said.
It’s a super group of players and I’ve got a lot of time for the staff as well.
