Foran elected Life Member at Manly

Just weeks after returning to the Sea Eagles as an assistant coach, Kieran Foran has been elected as a Life Member of Manly Warringah Rugby League Football Club.

Sea Eagle #531, Foran played 196 games in two separate stints over nine seasons at Manly, winning the NRL premiership in 2011.

The New Zealand International joins an illustrious group which includes several of his former Manly premiership-winning teammates, including Jamie Lyon, Jason King, Brett and Glenn Stewart, Anthony Watmough, Matt Ballin and Brent Kite.

Manly Warringah Football Club Chairman, Cliff Lyons presented Foran with his Life Membership at Thursday night’s AGM.

“Kieran has been a wonderful servant of this club and it is a pleasure to see him added as Life Member #65 of Manly Warringah Football Club,” said Lyons.

He is a true Manly champion, and we are thrilled he's now also a Life Member.

“I am also delighted he's joined our coaching staff ahead of the new season.”

Foran says he’s honoured to become a Life Member.

“This is an almighty honour and something I am extremely proud of,” Foran said.

This club has been a huge part of my life and always will be.

“It’s wonderful to be back at Manly and this is very much a huge and much appreciated surprise.”
