Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have added experienced AFL mentor, Aaron Greaves to the Club’s new-look coaching staff ahead of the 2026 season.
Greaves has been appointed to the position of Coaching Development & Leadership Manager and will also lend his specialist expertise in kicking and catching.
Greaves joins Manly after four years at AFL club Carlton where he was Head of Coaching, Performance and Innovation. He has spent time in similar roles over the past decade at AFL clubs Melbourne, North Melbourne and Port Adelaide.
Greaves will work closely with Head Coach Anthony Seibold, Assistant Coaches Kieran Foran and Jim Dymock, as well as Head of Performance, Jon Clarke.
Clarke, an England International who played 355 games in the Super League, will take on an expanded role as the team’s forwards’ coach.
Seibold says Greaves will bring a wealth of knowledge to the club.
“Aaron is a world class mentor who is very well respected in AFL circles, and I think he’ll be very good for us,” said Seibold.
Aaron will bring some new ideas to the table and obviously we’ll lean into his experience in the specialist area of kicking and catching.

“With Kieran, Jimmy, Jon and now Aaron as well, we have a very experienced group of coaches with a very broad skill set.”
Also joining Manly as NSW Cup Coach is former Australia and NSW halfback, Brett Kimmorley.
A premiership-winner with Melbourne Storm in 1999, Kimmorley played 307 games across 16 seasons, including one season with the Northern Eagles in 2001.
Kimmorley joins the Sea Eagles after being the foundation coach of Wests Tigers NRLW team.
“Bringing Brett in as our Cup coach is really exciting and I welcome him and his family back to the Club,” added Seibold.
Brett is a quality person with a very smart footy brain.
