Injury Update: End of season

A brief update on the Sea Eagles' injured players following the 2025 season.

Taniela Paseka has completed a six-month rehabilitation program following surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon. 

He is expected to commence pre-season training in November.

Haumole Olakau’atu continues to rehab after undergoing a shoulder reconstruction and is expected to be back to full contact in January.

Nathan Brown has fully recovered after surgery to repair a ruptured bicep and will be fit to commence pre-season training in November.

Jake Trbojevic will be back to full training when pre-season commences in November after missing the final few games due to repeated concussions.

Lachlan Croker is continuing to be monitored by medical staff after a mid-season concussion in training.

Josh Aloiai is awaiting final confirmation from the NRL regarding potentially being medically retired following repeated and significant injuries to his right shoulder.

Aaron Schoupp has undergone ACL reconstructive surgery and is expected to return mid-season next year.
