Sea Eagles to challenge Sipley Charge

Sea Eagles prop Toafofoa Sipley is challenging a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact charge in a bid to play against the Warriors on Friday night.

Sipley was sent to the sin bin following a tackle on David Klemmer early in the second half of the Round 26 match at Kogarah and was subsequently slapped with a Grade 2 charge.

The popular 30-year-old is hoping to have the grading reduced from Grade 2 to Grade 1.

If successful Sipley will be free to make his 100th NRL appearance on Friday night before heading the UK Super League next season.
