Gotcha4Life Cup

Now in its fourth year, the Gotcha4Life Cup sees Manly Warringah Sea Eagles take on the Sydney Roosters in a match dedicated to raising awareness about mental fitness.

Gotcha4Life develops and delivers preventative mental fitness programs, workshops and resources for schools, sports clubs, community groups and workplaces to inspire and enable all Australians to take action to build their mental fitness.

Match Day Partner – Shaw and Partners

A special thanks to Earl Evans and the team at Shaw and Partners Financial Services for their generous support of the G4L Cup.

Once again Shaw and Partners have donated $100,000, matched by the Roosters, to bring this year’s total to $200,000.  Please be sure to show your appreciation when the G4L Cup is presented to the winners after full time.

Luke Brooks 250

Luke Brooks will run out for his 250th game on Saturday night, 12 years after making his NRL debut with the Tigers.

Brooksy has made the most of his time here on the northern beaches, appearing in every game since his arrival in 2024.  Let’s make it a milestone to remember.

Posters celebrating Luke's 250-game milestone can be collected at the Membership Marquee.

Remembering Johnny Mayes

Together we will observe a moment’s silence just before kick-off in memory of rugby league great, Johnny Mayes, who passed away this week aged 78.

Sea Eagles Player #220, Mayes crossed for 16 tries in 24 appearances in his one season at Manly, playing a pivotal role in the team’s premiership success in 1973.

Johnny played 110 games across nine seasons with the Roosters, winning back-to-back premierships in 1974 and 1975, before playing three tests for Australia in the 1975 World Cup.

The Sea Eagles and Roosters offer their sincere condolences to Johnny’s family and friends.

Charity Partner – Gotcha4Life Foundation

Proceeds from Saturday's 50/50 Raffle will go to our match charity partner, The Gotcha4Life Foundation.

Gotcha4Life Celebrity Touch Footy

Another attraction on Saturday will be the Gotcha4Life Celebrity Touch Footy game at half time.

Several high-profile stars will give up their time in the name of mental fitness, including the likes of former NRL players Cliffy Lyons, Steve Menzies and Bryan Fletcher.

Other celebs getting amongst it on Saturday include flamboyant Aussie Olympic boxer, Harry Garside and seven-time world champion surfer, Layne Beachley.
