Manly Warringah Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has named a 22-man squad for Saturday’s Round 22 match against the Sydney Roosters at 4 Pines Park, Brookvale.
Match: Sea Eagles v Roosters
Round 22 -
home Team
Sea Eagles
10th Position
away Team
Roosters
9th Position
Venue: 4 Pines Park, Sydney
There are two changes to the side following last weekend’s loss to the Bulldogs.
Jake Simpkin (HIA protocol) replaces Gordon Chan Kum Tong on the bench after being forced to sit out Round 21, while Tommy Talau is elevated to the interchange after being 18th man against the Bulldogs.
The absence of Haumole Olakau’atu (shoulder) sees Corey Waddell move from the bench to second row.
In his thirteenth season and second at Manly, Luke Brooks will make his 250th NRL appearance.
The Sea Eagles and Roosters will be playing for the Gotcha4Life Cup.
Now in its fourth year, the Gotcha4Life Cup sees these two clubs come together with a united mission off the field: to raise funds and boost awareness of Gotcha4Life’s preventative programs focused on building mental fitness in our communities.
This game is part of a triple-header on Saturday with Round 22 matches against the Roosters in both the NSW Cup (5:15pm) and Jersey Flegg Cup (3:30pm).
