Injury Update: Olakau'atu shoulder surgery

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles second row Haumole Olakau’atu will not play again this season after dislocating his right shoulder in Sunday’s Round 21 loss to the Bulldogs at Allianz Stadium.

Olakau’atu dislocated the same shoulder against the Titans in Round 15 and was making his NRL return against the Bulldogs, after six weeks of rehabilitation.

Haumole will undergo surgery in the next couple of weeks and should be ready to return to full contact in January.

The Sea Eagles take on the Sydney Roosters on Saturday 2nd August as part of a triple-header at 4 Pines Park.

Up for grabs in the Round 22 NRL fixture is the annual Gotcha4Life Cup.
