Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are preparing for a super Sunday at 4 Pines Park with all three grades in action on Golden Eagles Day.
A host of former players will reunite at their old stomping ground for the popular annual event which celebrates our club’s rich history.
Manly Members and fans will get a chance to pay tribute to the ‘old boys’ when they do their traditional lap of honour just before kick-off of the Round 18 NRL clash against the Rabbitohs.
There’s sure to be a special vibe inside the fortress on Golden Eagles Day with a bumper crowd in attendance, as our team aims for a second win in nine days on home soil.
Jamie Buhrer, Sea Eagles Player #536, says he's looking forward to the occasion.
It’s a special day for the club and an event all of us past players look forward to every year.
Jamie Buhrer
"I think it’s an important event not just for the players, but the entire club, to maintain that connection with all of those who have pulled on a Manly jersey over the years."
The team will be wearing a specially designed Manly heritage jersey for the match against the Bunnies, further adding to the retro feel on Sunday.
Be sure to keep an eye on our socials through the week as we reflect on some special memories and great moments involving our Golden Eagles.
