Sea Eagles release Jake Arthur

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have released Jake Arthur from the final year of his contract, effective immediately.

The 22-year-old half who was off contract at the end of this season is heading to Newcastle Knights, where he will join younger brother, Matthew.

Jake made seven NRL appearances for the Sea Eagles after joining the club mid-season from the Parramatta Eels in 2023.

We thank Jake for his contributions to the club over the past two years and we wish him all the best with his future.

Meanwhile, joining the Sea Eagles from the Knights is 22-year-old middle forward, Paul Bryan.

The former Queensland U/19s representative made his NRL debut in Round 12 this season and has signed a deal through until at least the end of 2026.

The Sea Eagles next game is against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at 4 Pines Park, Brookvale at 4:05pm on Sunday 6th July.
