Coach's Comment: Guy Williams
It’s an exciting time for all of us as we enter a new season, following months of hard work over the summer.
It is a privilege to take on this new role as head coach of the NSW Cup team after spending the past couple of seasons as Training Coordinator and as a Transition Coach.
We have a quality group of players who have all bought into the standards we set as a club and I'm really excited about continuing to work with these men over the coming season.
As a club, we have genuine depth in key positions, which will see healthy competition for spots throughout the season.
Some will be coming back from injury, others perhaps from a dip in form, while there will be some players who are continuing on the path to making their NRL debut.
Back under the banner of Manly Sea Eagles for the first time in a long time, and with 12 home games at our fortress that is 4 Pines Park, we are eagerly awaiting our first opportunity on Saturday afternoon.
