Our junior rep teams this weekend take on the Raiders, Rabbitohs and Bulldogs at three different venues.

Harold Matthews Cup (U17s)

Our Harold Matthews team is gunning for a third straight win after a strong performance against the Storm (22-4) in Melbourne last weekend.

This weekend they head to Redfern to tackle South Sydney.

No changes to the starting lineup from Round 4, for what is expected to be a very good challenge for our boys.

The Rabbitohs are three from three and top of the table.  Using matches against the Storm as a rough guide, the Bunnies beat them 24-18 a couple of weeks back.

SG Ball Cup (U19s)

Our Under 19s are in Canberra on Saturday hoping to avoid a fourth straight loss, against a team which has won four from four.

While it will certainly be a tough mission against the Raiders, it’s also an opportunity for a new-look team to improve on an underwhelming performance in Melbourne last weekend.

Coach Wayne Lambkin has made several changes to the side, including a new halves pairing.

A dislocated shoulder will see Onitoni Large miss the remainder of the junior representative season, with Max Davies to wear the No. 6 jersey alongside new half, Tyler Melrose.

Lisa Fiaola Cup (U17s)

Our Lisa Fiaola Cup team has taken giant strides in recent weeks after a heavy defeat in their season-opener, with narrow losses to the Eels and Panthers respectively.

It doesn’t get any easier for the girls on Saturday up against an imposing and unbeaten Canterbury team.

The Bulldogs, who are defending premiers, have scored 142 points, conceding just eight, in their first three games.

Tarsha Gale Cup (U19s)

It’s been a challenging start to the season for our Tarsha Gale team after heavy losses to the Sharks, Eels and Panthers, but spirits remain high.

Much like our 17s, our Tarsha Gale team is preparing for another tough assignment on Saturday up against a Bulldogs side which has won three from three.

Coach Marley Ilolahia has made a few changes to the team with hooker Bella Morris returning to the side and May Fueina Sasa shifting from five-eighth to fullback.
