Sea Eagles release ANZAC Round jersey

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today launched a special commemorative ANZAC Round jersey that pays tribute to the men and women who have served in the Royal Australian Navy.

The Sea Eagles will wear the jersey in their ANZAC Round clash against the Parramatta Eels at 4 Pines Park on Friday, April 26.

Prior to the game both the Royal Australian Navy and Royal Navy (UK) will go head-to-head as our curtain raiser game of Rugby League.

The Sea Eagles 2024 ANZAC Round Jersey is available now.

Worn with white shorts and socks to give a comprehensive NAVY feel, the jersey design is reflective of the values of the Australian Defence Force; Service, Courage, Respect, Integrity and Excellence.

The traditional design features:

  • The gold chevron on the front of the jersey is symbolic of good conduct within the Navy.
  • Service, courage, respect, integrity and excellence. Australian defence force unified set of values listed on the sleeves of the jersey.
  • Royal Australian Navy anchor on the back of the neck, representing the past, present and future servicemen and women.
  • RAN 1901 on the back of the collar, denoting the year the royal Australian navy was first established.

Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Mark Hammond AO, RAN said;

“On Anzac Day, Australians reflect on the contribution made by all sailors, soldiers and aviators who have chosen a life of service to their country, and the families who enable them to serve.

We also acknowledge those in uniform who are currently deployed at sea or on operations, far from home and their loved ones.

The Anzac spirit lives on as an inspiration for all those called to serve; may we honour their memory well.

Vice Admiral Mark Hammond AO, RAN Chief of Navy
