Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have extended the contract of 2022 Player of the Year in hooker Lachlan Croker.
Off contract in 2023, Croker’s new deal will keep him at Manly until the end of 2024.
From his 23 games this season, the hard-working number nine made 943 tackles, 902 kick metres, and ran for a career high 822 metres.
He not only claimed the Roy Bull 'Best and Fairest' Award for season 2022 but Croker also took out the Club’s Steve Menzies Medal for the Play of the Year for his superb 40/20 kick and two tries against the Nth Qld Cowboys at 4 Pines Park.
Lachlan Croker re-signs with the Sea Eagles
The extended deal is a fine reward for Croker who has had to overcome three knee reconstructions and hamstring injuries in recent years. He has played 81 games for Manly since joining the club in 2018.
“Lachlan is a very popular clubman who just loves pulling on the Manly jersey,’’ said Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov.
“He has established himself as our starting hooker. Lachlan gives his all each and every week.
"We are very happy to extend Lachlan out for a further season.”
