Four Sea Eagles named in extended Tonga squad

Four Manly Warringah Sea Eagles players have been named in an extended Tonga squad for the Rugby League World Cup.

Tolu Koula, Haumole Olakau’atu, Taniela Paseka and Christian Tuipulotu have been named in a 38 man squad that will be cut to 24 before the tournament by Tonga Coach Kristian Woolf.

Koula, Olakau’atu and Tuipulotu made their Test debuts for Tonga against New Zealand at Mt Smart Stadium in June 25.

Tonga is in the same pool as the Cook Islands, Papua New Guinea and Wales for the tournament starting on October 15.
