Craig Meagher appointed Chief Commercial Officer

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Meagher as the Club’s new Chief Commercial Officer.

An executive leader and board director with more than 25 years’ experience negotiating and managing major commercial deals with key industry stakeholders, Meagher has managed sports teams and venues, global sponsorship and digital and cutting-edge gaming operations.

He also has had a strong focus on marketing, sponsorship, memberships, business development and events throughout his successful career.

Meagher is a former CEO of the Sydney Kings and Bicycle NSW and held the previous position of Sydney Cricket and Sports Group Trust General Manager.

Meagher also works with the SCG Trust on their Stadium Club Advisory Committee and was a previous Board Member of Harness Racing NSW.

New Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov said the Club was delighted to have secured the services of an experienced and successful businessman in Meagher, who starts at Brookvale on September 19.

“He has successfully built and managed businesses and brands via strategic leadership, client acquisition, staff engagement to sponsorship, membership, marketing and targeted media plans amongst many things.

“I know he will lead our commercial team and this part of the business in the right direction.”

Meagher said he was very excited to be joining such a successful and proud Club as the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

“I’m looking forward to working with Tony Mestrov and his team,'' Meagher said.

"This is a great opportunity and I'm excited to be coming to the Sea Eagles and working closely with all the Manly corporate partners as we prepare for the 2023 season."
