RD 9 Preview: Blacktown Workers vs Magpies

In what is looming as a great clash, Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles will take on the Western Suburbs Magpies in the NSW Cup at 4 Pines Park on Saturday.

The NSW Cup match is the second game in a triple header at Brookvale and will be played prior to the NRL game.

Blacktown Workers will be looking to rebound after a tough outing against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Redfern Oval last Saturday, going down 26-12 despite taking the lead early.

“We are playing well in patches but we need to be more consistent and learn to get into the grind for long periods,’’ said Blacktown Workers Coach Nathan Hogan.

“The Magpies will be a good contest for us as we continue to develop our combinations.

“It’s going to be a great occasion for our team, playing before the NRL match, so it would be see as  many Sea Eagles fans as possible there early to support the boys on what should be a great day at 4 Pines Park”.

Blacktown Workers will be out to secure their second win of the season against the winless Magpies.
