Josh Aloiai on Ray Hadley Show

Manly Sea Eagles player Josh Aloiai was a guest on The Ray Hadley Morning Show on 2GB today.

Aloiai has led calls for a stop to the kind of violence that ended in a 17-year-old being stabbed to death at the Easter Show.

He told Ray that the turf wars among young Pacific Islanders mean “we’re our own biggest enemies right now”.

“Us Pacific Islanders, we all have something in common … our forefathers migrated to countries like New Zealand and Australia … so future generations have more opportunity.

“We’re squandering away all the sacrifices our forefathers made for us.

“They didn’t bring us here for this.”
