Sea Eagles win NRL Try of the Year Award

It was the TRY that just had to be seen to be believed!

And now, the magical length of the field try the Sea Eagles scored after the full-time siren in the round 25 win over the Nth Qld Cowboys has been crowned the NRL's Try of the Year.

Following a loose pass from Manly prop Martin Taupau with five seconds left on the clock and with the Sea Eagles 22 points clear, winger Reuben Garrick raced back towards his tryline following a kick through by the Cowboys.

Instead of running the ball dead or dying in the tackle, Garrick ran the ball back to the halfway line before linking with half-back Daly Cherry-Evans, who raced down to the 10 metre line before putting in a grubber kick for full-back Tom Trbojevic to score his third try of the night.

Oh my goodness! That is from another universe
