Manly Warringah Sea Eagles recorded an impressive 42-18 win over the Newcastle Knights at Cessnock today in round six of the NSWRL SG Ball Cup.

The Sea Eagles ran in seven tries to three at Cessnock Sports Ground to return to the winners circle under Coach Brett Fulton after a two point loss last week to the Bulldogs.

Manly went into the match without inspirational captain Gordon Chgam Kum Tong, resulting in Jamie Humphreys moving from half-back to hooker. Kobe Fulton came off the bench to play half-back.

The Sea Eagles led 20-6 at half-time with full-back Kaeo Weekes scoring two tries and one each to prop Faafetai Autagavaia.

Manly put on 22 more points in the second half through tries to winger Cameron Brown, Humphreys, and five-eighth Krystian Mapapalangi.

Humphreys converted six of the seven tries, landed a penalty goal, and scored a try for a personal haul of 18 points.
