Zac Saddler to play in All Stars match

Young Manly Warringah Sea Eagles prop Zac Saddler has been called into the Indigenous All Stars squad for the NRL Harvey Norman All Stars in Townsville on Saturday, February 20.

It will be the second consecutive season that Saddler has played for the Indigenous All Stars after lining up for Coach Laurie Daley in last year’s match on the Gold Coast.

Saddler will join the squad following the withdrawal of Wade Graham.

Talented young Manly half Cade Cust will join Saddler in the Indigenous team with the pair lining up against their fellow Sea Eagles team-mate Dylan Walker.

Walker had a strong game for the Maori All Stars side in their win last year.

A proud Wiradjuri man, Saddler joined Manly midway through the 2019 season after previously working with Sea Eagles Coach Des Hasler and Recruitment Manager Noel Cleal at the Canterbury Bulldogs.

After spending the rest of the season in Manly’s U20s team, Saddler earned a development contract for 2020. He remains a Manly development player in season 2021.

Saddler got a small taste of the NRL in 2020 when he played for Manly in the Nines tournament in Perth before playing in the All Stars match.
