Sea Eagles release Sam Smith

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today officially released centre Sam Smith from his contract.

Smith was part of the Sea Eagles top 30 squad this season after playing for the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles team in the Canterbury Cup in 2019.

After the NRL premiership was suspended in March, Smith returned to his home town in Gladstone in Queensland to be with his family. His partner is now expecting a baby and the Club has granted Smith’s request to be released and remain in Queensland.

The Sea Eagles thank Sam and wish him and his family all the best for the future.
