The Night the Sea Eagles Farewelled Steve Menzies
More than 14,000 passionate Sea Eagles fans came together on Monday, September 1, 2008, to farewell Steve Menzies in his last regular season club match at Brookvale for Manly. It was the night the Sea Eagles renamed the southern stand the 'Fulton-Menzies Stand' in recognition of the all-time leading forward try-scorer, along with Immortal Bob Fulton. Manly sent 'Beaver' Menzies off with a 28-10 win over the Gold Coast Titans.
