NRL Round 2 Team of the Week

The votes are in and what will unfortunately be the last Team of the Week for a while, is locked in.

Not surprisingly, Cowboys superstar Jason Taumalolo dominated the votes with 73% picking him to be lock of the week.

Queenslanders dominated the pack with Cowboys forward Coen Hess and Broncos powerhouse David Fifita named in the second row with Broncos duo Thomas Flegler and Payne Haas up front.

Panthers recruit Apisai Koroisau continued his form to be the hooker of the round.

In the backs, Manly fullback Tom Trbojevic was rewarded for his stunning form against the Roosters, Canberra’s Nick Cotric was the runaway winner for the wingers with Edrick Lee just edging out Blake Ferguson for the other spot.

In-form Bronco Kotoni Staggs polled the most centre votes with Canberra co-captain Jarrod Croker outpointing Parramatta’s Michael Jennings by the barest margin for the other berth.

Every try from Round 2

Broncos pivot Anthony Milford beat out Eels young gun Dylan Brown for five-eighth honours while Parramatta’s Mitchell Moses knocked off Sea Eagles skipper Daly Cherry-Evans to be the halfback of round two.
