Plenty of fun at Northern Beaches Sun Run

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles were proud to partner with the Northern Beaches Council for the Northern Beaches Sun Run on Saturday, February 1.

More than 4270 competitors took part in the scenic run from Dee Why Beach to Manly Beach who who were sent on their way by Manly Sea Eagles Run Team Ambassador Steve Menzies.

More than $135,000 was raised through the event for WIRES and other charities.

After firing the starting gun, Menzies joined the Sea Eagles Run Team in the 7km and 10km runs.

The Sea Eagles Run Team comprised of Manly staff and Sea Eagles Members and supporters.

Following the run, participants took the opportunity to grab a cold drink, and use the yoga mats and foam rollers to stretch out their sore muscles in the Sea Eagles Cool Down Zone whilst overlooking the beautiful backdrop of Manly Beach.
