Manly Warringah Sea Eagles wish to advise of the following information in relation to Week 1 of NRL Finals at Lottoland.

The NRL earlier tonight advised that Lottoland’s eligibility to host the Week One Finals Series Match against Cronulla Sharks next Saturday night would be determined by a safety assessment.

The NRL was informed late on Friday evening that isolated traces of asbestos had been found in a small area of the hill at Lottoland.

Northern Beaches Council, as owner of the ground, will be finalising the remainder of soil testing required to be undertaken and putting in place all appropriate steps to ensure the safety of all members and supporters who attend the game.

In agreement with the NRL, a period of 24 hours has been agreed and as a result, ticket sales for members will now be scheduled for 10am Tuesday morning.

The Club will keep all Sea Eagles Members informed of any developments and apologise for the inconvenience, however, the Club wishes to reiterate that the safety of all of our members and fans is the number one priority.
