A simple gesture by Manly Sea Eagles Captain Daly Cherry-Evans has created a lasting impression on a young fan.
The Sea Eagles received this email and photo on Sunday morning from Troy Button following the win over the Gold Coast Titans the day before.
“I would like to thank Daly for his gesture to my 10-year-old daughter Jacqueline at yesterday’s game against the Titans,'' Troy wrote.
"After the team finished its pre-game warm up, Daly came over and gave his warm up shirt to my daughter.
"What an absolute legend and it’s safe to say, he has a new number 1 fan.
"Daly even promised to sign it after the game, which he did.
“Thank you Manly and Daly. This is how you create lasting memories for the younger generation and ever lasting fans into the future.”
