'Tooves' returns as URM Sea Eagles Ambassador

United Resource Management (URM), the Major Partner of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, has today announced Club Legend Geoff Toovey as the face of a number of exciting new community programs and initiatives being introduced by URM this year.

“It’s great to be back and working with the URM boys,” Toovey said.

“I’ve enjoyed a long-standing relationship with both URM and the Sea Eagles, so it’s wonderful to be returning in this exciting new role where we can really work together in the community to positively engage as many local young kids and families as possible.”

To celebrate today’s launch of Geoff Toovey as the URM Sea Eagles Ambassador, URM Managing Director, Mr Anthony Johnston, also announced that URM has purchased 10,000 tickets for the remaining 2019 Sea Eagles home games, which will be given away to over 1400 kids per game.

“The Sea Eagles are very much part of the Northern Beaches community and our partnership with them is constantly evolving. We wanted to create an initiative that supports URM sustainability programs being introduced to Northern Beaches schools and ‘Tooves’ is a great fit,'' Mr Johnston said.

“Our major partnership with the Sea Eagles is more than just having our logo across the front of the jerseys, it’s about the important role that both URM and the Sea Eagles play together within the Northern Beaches community.”

Season 2019 is URM’s 23rd year of partnership with the Sea Eagles and is shaping as the biggest and best yet with the introduction of a number of exciting new community-focused programs and initiatives.

These will range from kids tickets giveaways, the URM Community Corner at home games, the URM Junior League Volunteer of the Round, and regular player visits to local schools with the primary aim of educating kids on the importance of recycling and the need for a sustainable environment.

Manly's Round 14 home game against St George-Illawarra Dragons on Sunday 16 June will be a special community focused URM Environmental Round where the team will wear unique URM community jerseys to celebrate the ongoing commitment of URM and the Sea Eagles to the Northern Beaches community.
