As proud Manly Members myself and my son Kalahni attended Friday night's game between the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and the Gold Coast Titans.

Although we didn't get the result, the entire game day experience was very enjoyable for my son and I, made even better after being invited to the post-match press conference.

The chance to be up close and personal both teams Coach and Captain was a special and insightful moment for myself and Kalahni. It was an interesting experience to hear the questions asked by Journalists and the collective responses from Daly and Trent.

The opportunity to be exposed to this was not only a great experience it gave both my son and I another level of admiration for the jobs these men have to do. It's certainly a tough gig for a player, hard for the fans, but the toughest job of all would go to the Head Coach.

After attending the press conference, I had a whole new respect for Daly and Trent who both fronted the media with such professionalism after such a tough night/week for the club.

To the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, thank you for allowing a sneak peek at what goes on after the full-time siren has sounded, it was an incredible experience for me and my young boy.

To all Manly fans if you have the chance to be invited to the press conference or any other on-field activities – make sure you take it up as it's very special.

As a footnote to all Manly Sea Eagles supporters - the most important thing we can do even when things aren't going our way, "is to stick". Manly is OUR team.

Signed,
Mitchell
