Manly Warringah Sea Eagles is saddened to hear of the passing of Life Member Robert (Bob) Lenon.

Bob made his 1st grade debut in 1957 and played 123 games for the Manly Sea Eagles. He debuted in 1954 and played through to 1961.

He also captained the undefeated reserve grade premiers to grand final victory in 1970 and coached the first victorious Presidents Cup team in 1970.

A great club man who had a passion for the Sea Eagles his whole life. He will be sorely missed. Another Eagle flying high. Bob is pictured far left with his 1960's team mates in 2015 celebrating heritage round.

The Sea Eagles wore black arm bands during round 23 of the 2018 Telstra Premiership in his memory.

We pass on our condolences to Bob's family and friends.

RIP Bob Lenon #112
