Member of the Month for May

Lola Case is the Sea Eagles' Member of the Month for May.

Growing up in the country, Lola's love for the Sea Eagles began on a family holiday in 1947 – the year Manly entered the NSWRL competition.

"In 1947, my father loved holidaying in Manly so it became his team so that started me as a supporter. Then in 1968, we moved to Manly and from there, I started going to games.

"I have had 7 footballers from the country come and live with my family since 1987. I must say after all this time, they all keep in touch with me."

Lola says that the best thing about becoming a Manly Member is that she gets to watch the football from her season seat in the Jane Try Stand.

"I love it every time there is a home game,'' she added.

"My son Dave comes to the games with me".

Prior to this, she used to attend Manly matches with her four children and her late husband.

"I have many great memories, the 1987 grand final was special. I always look forward to my cuddles from Daly Cherry-Evans after each Manly game," Lola added.

For her efforts, Lola receives a $100 bank account from Freshwater Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank. She also goes into the draw to be the 2018 Sea Eagles Member of the Year.

Lola will also be part of our Member Experiences in Round 20 (Members Appreciation Round).

The Sea Eagles thank Lola for her passionate support and for embodying the spirit of our Club.
