Sea Eagles visit Avalon Bulldogs JRL

There were plenty of smiles, autographs, and some fine young footballers on show when the Sea Eagles visited the Avalon Bulldogs Junior Rugby League Club on Wednesday.

Sea Eagles players Jake Trbojevic, Joel Thompson, and Lewis Brown attended a training session to work with the coaches and the young players as a follow up to the recent 'Come and Try' junior rugby league clinics held prior to the season commencing. Avalon Bulldogs could not participate in the clinics at the time.

Sam Baum, Secretary of the Avalon Bulldogs, said the afternoon was a success for all involved.

"I just want to say a huge thank you to the Sea Eagles for the afternoon. Our kids loved every minute,'' she said in an email to the club.

"Joel, Lewis and Jake were amazing with them."

The Sea Eagles also presented the Avalon Bulldogs with a signed 2018 team jersey to use for their fundraising.
