Proud Manly Member Paul Secomb had a weekend to remember with his beloved Sea Eagles.
Paul was the winner of the Club’s 18th Man promotion that saw him experience the Sea Eagles ‘inner sanctum’ and be a big part of the team on game day.
Paul's '18th Man' Expereience
Below is a thank you letter from Paul to the Club about his magical weekend.
‘I am writing to thank Troy, the Club, and all the wonderful people that I met throughout this weekend. It has been a pleasure and an experience that I shall never forget.
After being informed by Troy that I had won, and then meeting such people as Gareth, Sean, and Wayne at the Captain’s Run, through to meeting the players and coaching staff at Lottoland on Saturday morning, I knew that I was in for a great weekend.
The players are friendly and easy to talk to, and they made me feel welcome at their training session. Then, the jersey given to me by Daly and Marty is a memento that I will cherish and have as reminder – I wore it with pride on Sunday at the match.
On game day, such things as being welcomed by Kellie and others at the merchandise tent outside the ground, sitting in the dugout, tossing the coin, and being interviewed on the ground in front of the crowd, meeting the CEO, and being on the ground after the game, and especially Manly’s big win, just made the day and the whole weekend, one to remember.
Again, many thanks’
