Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will be heavily represented in the quarter finals of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, starting in Darwin this Friday night.

Winger Matthew Wright has been named on the wing for Samoa with forward Frank Winterstein on the extended reserves bench for the clash against the Australian Kangaroos in Darwin. Tom Trbojevic has missed selection in the Australian team.

On Saturday, Martin Taupau will play his fourth straight game for the Kiwis at prop in the big clash against Fiji in Wellington. Prop Addin Fonua-Blake has been named on the extended reserves bench.

Lining up against Taupau for Fiji will be his Manly team-mates in Akuila Uate and Apisai Koroisau.

Uate has been a revelation in the centres for the undefeated Fiji with Koroisau at his scheming best at hooker. Both have played in all three of Fiji’s wins.

Manly U20 player Bilal Maarbani has been named on the extended reserves bench for Lebanon against Tonga in Christchurch on Saturday.
