Exciting young Manly Warringah Sea Eagles winger Bilal Maarbani has been named in the Lebanon team for their clash against France in the Rugby League World Cup.

Maarbani has been named on the interchange bench by Lebanon Coach Brad Fittler where he can cover full-back, wing, and centre. The clash against France will be played at Canberra Stadium on Sunday.

The selection of Maarbani caps off a huge season for the 19-year-old who played a starring role in Manly’s Holden Cup Grand Final victory over Parramatta.

Maarbani scored seven tries in 14 matches for the Sea Eagles this season, including two doubles against the Melbourne Storm and the Wests Tigers.He also kicked 13 goals when used as a part-time kicker.
