Fullback Tom Trbojevic has every faith Coach Trent Barrett will get the Sea Eagles back to their winning ways.

Two heavy losses over the past fortnight have seen Manly drop out of the top four to sit in seventh place ahead of Sunday’s crucial match against the Sydney Roosters at Lottoland.

“The last two weeks have been very disappointing. To let in 92 points when we pride ourselves on our defence has been not good,’’ Trbojevic said.

“Trent has told us to stick together and that we are the only ones to get ourselves out of this.

“He has full faith in us, and we have faith in him. We are lucky to have him as a coach.

“We just need to stick together. Defence is an attitude thing and we need to change that, and to work harder.”

Trbojevic said the players were determined to make amends against the second placed Roosters to get their finals campaign back on track.

“We all want to play finals footy. We need to put in a good performance in front of our home fans otherwise we will be sitting outside the top eight and chasing our tail,’’ he added.

“The beautiful thing about footy is that we have this Sunday to change it.

“Everyone is really looking forward to the game and putting the last two weeks behind us. It is a big game for us and we need to win.”
