Matt Balin: NRL Round 19

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles wish to congratulate the club’s former two-time premiership winning hooker Matt Ballin on a wonderful career in the NRL.

The 33-year-old Ballin announced his retirement yesterday following a series of knee injuries. He made just three appearances as a Wests Tigers player after joining the joint venture last year.

Ballin played 217 NRL games for Manly from 2007-15, including 182 consecutive games.

He won NRL premierships with Manly in 2008 and 2011. He also represented Queensland in 2010.

The Sea Eagles Board, players, staff, corporate partners, and supporters thank Matt for his exceptional service to Manly during his time at the club, and wish him, his wife Shannan, and their family all the very best in the future.
