Sea Eagles set sail for Perth
Game information | Saturday July 1, 3.30pm (WST) at nib Stadium, Perth - TICKETS
We are very excited to announce that the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are to take on the New Zealand Warriors for the second time in Perth!
The two teams will again clash at nib Stadium in round 17 of the Telstra Premiership in Perth, with both clubs extremely proud to promote rugby league in Western Australia.
If last years clash between the Sea Eagles and Warriors was any indication, rugby league supporters will be in for a massive game at Perth’s nib Stadium July 1st.
The 2016 match was one of the most thrilling encounters of the season, with the game decided in extra-time.
In torrential rain, Sea Eagles Half-back Daly Cherry-Evans kicked a field goal in extra-time for a 15-14 victory after forward Jake Trbojevic had earlier charged down an attempt at field goal by the Warriors’ Shaun Johnson in front of the posts.
This year both teams will feature a number of International and representative stars in their squads all set to put on a show for Perth spectators.
With the Rugby League World Cup just around the corner what better way to get excited than to see two of the NRL’s toughest clubs battle it out in WA.
nib Stadium will host a World Cup Double Header in November with England taking on France and Wales playing Ireland.
For our fans in Western Australia there is no better time to pledge your commitment to the Sea Eagles by becoming a WA Member.
