It was hard to tell who had the most enjoyment when three Sea Eagles players visited some wonderful children at St Lucy’s School in Wahroonga last week.

Sea Eagles players Jackson Hastings, Brad Parker, and Tom Wright could not hide their smiles when they joined several students for some footy skills and bike riding in a beautiful playground environment.

St Lucy’s School is a Catholic primary school in the Dominican tradition for students with disabilities. The school provide excellence in education that empowers students with the values, knowledge, attitudes and skills to flourish and participate fully in society.

“I had such a great time there with the children. They are always smiling and it was just so much fun,’’ Hastings said.

“The staff do an incredible job and are so dedicated and passionate about their work with the children.

"As NRL footballers, we tend to forget how fortunate we are to be in the positions we are in, so coming to a school like St Lucy's and seeing the children and what they experience everyday, it makes you appreciate the opportunities you have.

"It was a real pleasure to be at the school and you can't help but be inspired by the children there. I can’t wait to return.”
