Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles suffered a 16-8 loss to Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Lottoland today in round four of the Intrust Super Premiership.

In a match that never reached any great heights, the Sea Eagles hit the front with 10 minutes remaining before the Bulldogs scored two late tries to snatch victory.

The Bulldogs opened the scoring with a try to second-rower Rhyse Martin for a 6-0 lead before the Sea Eagles hit back when full-back Viliame Kaveinga scored from dummy half for a 6-4 lead.

The score remained that way to half-time,

Second Half

A penalty goal to hooker Joey Lussick saw the Sea Eagles level the scores at 6-all after 57 minutes.

Manly lock Jarrad Kennedy was denied a possible try when he was held back from a chip kick by his winger. Lussick converted for an 8-6 lead with 10 minutes remaining.

The Bulldogs then scored two tries inside the final 10 minutes to record their first win of the season.

The Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles remain winless after four rounds.
