Outstanding Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forward Jake Trbojevic will make his Australian Test debut at lock against Scotland Bravehearts in Hull on Friday.

Kangaroos Coach Mal Meninga has handed the 22-year-old the number 13 jersey for the opening match of the Four Nations tournament featuring England, New Zealand, and Scotland.

The match at KC Lightstream Stadium, Hull, will be shown live on Channel Nine’s Gem Network at 6am Saturday (AEDT).

Trbojevic’s selection sees him become the 70th Manly player to represent Australia, ironically in the Sea Eagles’ 70th Year Anniversary. In doing so, Trbojevic will become the 814th player to play for the Kangaroos.

He also becomes the first Manly junior to make his Test debut for Australia since Anthony Watmough made his Kangaroos debut against Papua New Guinea in Townsville on November 9, 2008.

A Mona Vale Raiders junior, Trbojevic was named Manly’s Best and Fairest Player in 2015 and took home the NRL Players’ Player award this year in a season which saw him captain the Sea Eagles.

Manly Warringah are also represented in the Four Nations by New Zealand Test players Lewis Brown and Martin Taupau.

Trbojevic joins fullback Matt Moylan, centre Justin O'Neill , five-eighth James Maloney and interchange player Jake Friend in the green and gold jersey for the first time.
