Manly Warringah Sea Eagles forward Jake Trbojevic spoke to Sea Eagles TV at home this morning prior to flying to Perth today to join the Australian Kangaroos team.

Trbojevic spoke to Manly Media Manager Wayne Cousins about his call up for the tournament in the UK against England, New Zealand and Scotland.

“I’m pretty proud. It is really exciting to get called into the team and to get to go on the tour. I’m really looking forward to it and it should be a great experience,’’ Trbojevic said.

“I haven’t been to England before, so that will be pretty cool.”

Should Trbojevic pull on the Kangaroos jersey, he will become the 70th Manly player to represent Australia, ironically in the Sea Eagles’ 70th Year Anniversary.

He will also become the 25th junior to represent Australia from Manly. The last player to achieve this was Anthony Watmough in 2008.
