Manly Warringah Coach Trent Barrett has revealed he only had 18 ‘fit NRL players’ to choose from for tomorrow’s clash against the Melbourne Storm at Brookvale Oval.

With the finals race out of contention, Barrett said the side still had plenty to play for despite the heavy injury toll the club has experienced this season.

“We are certainly missing a lot of players. I think upwards of $3 million worth of players have been out for six weeks now,’’ Barrett said today.

“When you look at that, I am really proud of how we have performed.”

Watch the video above to hear what Barrett had to say about playing winger Jorge Taufua and full-back Tom Trbojevic who will both undergo post season surgery.

He also talks about the future of the Trbojevic brothers.
