Sea Eagles lock Jamie Buhrer says his teammates are determined to get back onto the field and get back to winning ways, starting this Thursday night against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Going down to Parramatta on the weekend wasn't ideal but mathematically we're still a chance but we definitely have to take care of business this week," Buhrer said.

"It's good that we have the short turnaround so we can play on Thursday, we just want to get back out there because we know what we can do and they will be a big test for us."
