Centre Steve Matai is confident he can take the field against the Canberra Raiders this Friday night.
Matai has been named to return from an ongoing neck injury but will ‘need to tick a few boxes’ before tackling the Raiders at GIO Stadium.
“I’ve started running again and I just got to do some contact work, so fingers crossed,’’ Matai said.
“We have been monitoring it over the last few weeks. It is a slow process with nerves. It could take 2 weeks or 2 months.”
