Royal Far West, in conjunction with the Sea Eagles Foundation, are holding a FREE 5-day camp for kids and their families who live with Type 1 Diabetes.

Who: teens aged 12 - 16

When: the first week of school holidays 11-15 April 2016

Where: Royal Far West, Manly

What: The camp includes information sessions on:

 exercise and physical activity

 management of food and carbohydrates

 management of medication

 managing the teenage years

 supporting a teenager with Type 1 Diabetes

As well as the educational aspects, the camp facilitates lots of fun activities for the group.

Participants will attend a home game of the Manly Sea Eagles vs Paramatta Eels at Brookvale Oval on Thursday, April 11.

The Sea Eagles players are involved with these camps as Brett Stewart has Type 1 Diabetes and is keen to mentor kids with Diabetes.

Places are limited to around 10 children plus one parent/guardian, apply ASAP.

Cost: Accommodation, meals, information sessions and activities will be provided free of charge, however travels cost to and from Manly are at the family’s expense
