Peta Hiku’s versatility will again be a luxury for the Sea Eagles in 2016.

The talented back is equally at home at full-back, wing or centre and played 22 games for the Sea Eagles this season, scoring eight tries.

Six of his tries came on the wing, where he formed a strong combination outside centre Jamie Lyon. He played 12 games on the wing, eight at centre, and two at full-back where he filled in for Brett Stewart.

Hiku’s best try scoring performance came in the 28-78 thumping of 2014 premiers South Sydney at Brookvale Oval in round 22.

In front of a crowd of 15,083, the winger grabbed a hat-trick, crossing for tries in the 16th, 36th and 61st minutes in a match which also saw prop Jake Trbojevic score two tries.

Hiku also represented New Zealand in the ANZAC Test win over Australia in May.

Born in Gisborne, the proud Kiwi has now represented his country in six Tests, recording five victories.
