It seems when it comes to winning cars, Sea Eagles supporter Jenny Kable has the midas touch!
The 61-year-old today picked up the keys for a 2013 Fiat, Panda ‘Easy’ valued at $15,500 as part of the Suttons Sea Eagles ‘Kick for a Car’ promotion.
The devoted Sea Eagles supporter was one of five Members who were drawn at random to win the car after attending the home games at Brookvale Oval against Cronulla, North Queensland, South Sydney and Parramatta Eels.
The five Members were handed a key to try to unlock the Fiat as part of the match day entertainment against the Sydney Roosters at Brookvale Oval last Friday night.
When Jenny’s key unlocked the vehicle, she was then required to ‘Kick for the Car’. She successfully converted her first attempt from 10 metres out but missed the second attempt from 20 metres.
It was then when the kindness and generosity from the Suttons Motor Group came to the fore as they allowed Jenny the chance to use Manly Warringah NSW Cup player Delroy Berryman as her kicker from 30 metres out to win the car.
Berryman unfortunately missed the conversion attempt but with the support of the crowd and Suttons, he was given one more chance. This time, he sent the ball between the posts, giving Jenny the thrill of winning a new car.
As for the midas touch, she previously won a car from the Sea Eagles in a raffle in 2000!
The Sea Eagles thanks Suttons for their ongoing support of the club and encourage fans to visit them when looking for a car. Click here to visit Suttons Motor Group.
